A group of 32 members from the University of the South Pacific’s Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies will be heading to Europe on a tour to perform.
Artistic Director, Peter Espiritu says the purpose for this ‘Moana tour’ is to raise awareness globally on the reality of climate change and its effects in the Pacific.
Espiritu says that a performance will also be showcased at the European parliament in Brussels.
The group will include four creative team, 2 technical and 26 singers and dancers.
The group will leave the country next Thursday and will return on the 27th of June.
