Two records have tumbled on Day 2 of the 2016 Coca Cola Games.
Marist Brothers High School’s Sekonaia Bulu had a record throw of 13.77 metres in the Sub Junior Boys Shot Put event.
The previous record of 12.95 metres was held by Henry Spring of QVS.
Alipate Wesele of Marist won gold in the Intermediate Boys Javelin event.
Pio Vulibuli of All Saints Secondary School won silver while Waisea Mateo of John Wesley College won the bronze medal.
Meanwhile Kaliopasi Uluilakepa of Marist won gold in the Intermediate Boys Shot Put with a record throw of 15.75 metres.
Nathaniel Tupou won gold for Marist in the Junior Boys Javelin.
Keresi Maya won silver and Navitalai Tamainai took the bronze medal.
