Two men who allegedly swore at Bau Chief on Facebook seek forgiveness

Two men who allegedly swore at Bau Chief Ratu Epenisa Cakobau on Facebook presented their “Matanigasau” earlier today seeking forgiveness for their actions.

They allegedly swore at him for being part of the ATS march in Nadi last Saturday.

Dharmend Singh and Bhanravi Chand accompanied by a Church Pastor and close friends visited Ratu Epenisa at his home in Lami.

Dharmend Singh says Ratu Epenisa was really welcoming and happy when they visited him.

Ratu Epenisa said on his Facebook page, “The two gentlemen came home today to present their matanigasau. Thank you gentlemen. I love our culture”.

Police had earlier confirmed that Ratu Epenisa had lodged a complaint at the Nakasi Police Post.
