Two men have been sentenced by the Suva High Court for aggravated burglary and theft from the Fiji Rugby Union office.
Ritesh Mani and Dhani Ram had previously pleaded guilty to a count each of aggravated burglary and theft.
The two had been charged for stealing items worth $818.35 from the Fiji Rugby Union office on the 4th of June this year.
High Court Judge Justice Vinsent Perera sentenced Ritesh Mani to 2 years 8 months in prison, with a non parole period of 1 year 8 months.
He has to serve 8 months in prison while the remaining 2 years has been suspended for 3 years.
Dhani Ram has been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment, with a non parole period of 2 years. The first 12 months have been partially suspended while the remaining 2 years have been suspended for 3 years.
He now has to serve 8 months 1 week in prison.
