Two men charged with aggravated robbery have been remanded in custody by the Suva Magistrates Court.
26-year-old Taitusi Qoli and 45-year-old Joape Tovatova allegedly stole a bag containing $110,000 on September 15th at Damodar City.
Magistrate Waleen George says that Qoli was on two years suspended sentence.
Magistrate George has transferred the matter to the Suva High Court because a substantial amount of money is involved in this case.
Police Prosecutor Corporal Joshua Shaw served the full phase of disclosures and informed the court that they had recovered $2,000.
The case has been adjourned to next Friday.
