The two men who were arrested by a team of officers on beat patrol in Suva over the weekend have been charged and will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Police say the first accused who is a 64 year old has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
They say the second accused who was found with dried leaves has also been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
The second accused was arrested last Saturday near the Suva Library Carpark after being allegedly found with dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
The two cases are not related.
