The trial of two former Corrections Officers who allegedly raped a female Corrections officer started in the Suva High Court today.
Ratu Meli Vatureba and Nasoni Kaburau are each facing one count of rape.
They both pleaded not guilty to the offence before Justice Vinsent Perera today.
The two allegedly raped a 26-year-old female Corrections Officer on 17th September 2015.
The complainant took the stand as the first prosecution today.
She said the first accused Ratu Meli Vatureba had sex with her without her consent.
She said she had only knew the two accused persons for about 5 months before the incident happened.
