Two cases of fire have been recorded in the last 48 hours in the Western Division.
A 4 bedroom house was destroyed on Tuesday afternoon in Nukuloa, Ba at about 7.30pm.
The alarm was raised by a 24-year-old school teacher and the fire is believed to have started from one of the bedrooms.
The estimated cost of damage is $200,000.
In a second incident, a 2 bedroom school quarters was destroyed in a fire at Choy Gopal Street, Waiyavi, Lautoka yesterday.
The quarters was occupied by a 35-year-old school teacher of Lautoka SDA Primary School and was vacant at the time of the incident at about 10.45am.
The estimated cost of damage is $30,000.
The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
