Two assessors found Umendra Kumar guilty of abduction and rape this afternoon.
However, one assessor found Kumar not guilty of all the charges including the alternative counts of defilement.
The 33‑year‑old taxi driver is charged with a count of abduction and three counts of rape.
It is alleged that Kumar had abducted a 14‑year‑old girl from Nasinu and took her to Nadi, Lautoka and Rakiraki and raped her on three separate days.
The alleged incidents took place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of January 2014.
Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza will deliver his judgement on Monday.
