Tuvalu Prime Minister, Enele Sopaaga has highlighted during his visit to Fiji this week that Tuvalu would like to expand its trade links with Fiji.
Sopaaga hopes that the strong cultural links between Fiji and Tuvalu will help expand our trade relations.
He has also highlighted that Tuvalu would like to form more collaborations with Fiji in areas such as Human Resource development, Education, Health and in other significant areas of need.
He has also appreciated the idea of Fiji stepping up to be a prominent leader in the Pacific region.
Sopaaga was in the country to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the Fiji Workers Volunteer Scheme which is currently being practiced in Tuvalu.
