The Tovata and Burebasaga delegations presented their reguregu for the late former Vice President and Roko Tui Bau, Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi in Bau earlier today.
Spokesperson for the Roko Tui Bau, Kinijoji Toganivalu says Tui Cakau, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu led the Tovata delegation while Marama Na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa led the Burebasaga delegation this afternoon for their reguregu.
Toganivalu says yesterday the NGO Coalition on Human Rights, including the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre, Fiji Women's Rights Movement, Citizens' Constitutional Forum and the Socio‑Economic Empowerment Programme presented their reguregu.
He adds that Ratu Joni was an important and longtime supporter of the women's and human rights movements in Fiji and the Pacific.
Meanwhile the Yavusa, Ratu led by the Roko Tui Kiuva will be escorting the body from the CWM mortuary to Bau Island at about 4pm Thursday.
