A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the eastern and northern parts of Fiji, and this has resulted in continuous heavy rain in some areas.
A heavy rain warning is also in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Group.
A flood alert remains in force for the low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to all major rivers of Fiji and for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to downstream of Waimanu to Nausori Town, Keyasi to Sigatoka Town, Nasivi to Tavua Town, Emuri and Semo Village to Tuva River, Nabukelevu and Sabata to Navua Town, Vatukacevaceva to Rakiraki Town, Toge to Ba Town and Votualevu to Nadi Town.
