A trough of low pressure is expected to approach Fiji from the east this weekend.
The Nadi Weather Office says this trough of low pressure is expected to bring rain starting from tomorrow.
Rain is expected to become frequent and heavy from tomorrow for the Lomaiviti group, Kadavu, Navua, Suva, Nausori, Nadi, Lautoka and Ba.
The trough of low pressure is expected to affect Fiji until next Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the heavy rain warning previously in force for Yasawa, Mamanuca, Western Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller Island is now cancelled.
