The trial in the case of a school teacher charged with 4 counts of rape, 2 counts of indecent assault and 7 counts of sexual assault will begin on 27th November this year.
The Suva High Court heard that there are five defense witnesses and 13 prosecution witnesses.
Justice Salesi Temo gave more time to defense lawyer Aman Ravindra Singh to file for bail application.
The case is adjourned till 12th of next month.
It is alleged that Umesh Prasad had committed these offences between 1st January 2010 to 31st October 2013 while serving as a teacher in a school in Nasinu.
He has pleaded not guilty.
