People traveling to West Africa have been urged to take caution due to the outbreak of the Ebola Virus Disease.
The Ministry of Health has issued a travel advisory following the advice of the World Health Organization, which has declared an International Public Health Emergency to prevent the spread of the disease.
The Ministry has reassured that there have been no reported cases of Ebola Virus Disease in the South Pacific, including Fiji.
The Ministry advises all Fijian citizens against non-essential travel to Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria until further notice.
