Tourism Fiji appoints Aviareps to act as its representation agency in Japan

Tourism Fiji has appointed Tokyo‑based travel representation and PR consultancy, Aviareps, to act as its representation agency in Japan.

It says that Aviareps is recognized as a global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 63 offices in 47 countries around the world.

Tourism Fiji adds that will work closely with Aviareps in Japan to continue to position Fiji as a premier leisure destination, in order to increase visitation, spend, and market share for Fiji.

As part of this effort, Aviareps will plan and deploy a series of strategic marketing initiatives, in the areas of trade engagement, trade marketing, public relations and consumer promotions.

Earlier last month, Fiji Airways, Fiji's National Airline, announced the launch of direct flights between Tokyo's Narita Airport and Nadi International Airport in Fiji with service three‑times a week starting 3 July.

Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer Matthew Stoeckel says that they are looking forward to working with the Aviareps team in Tokyo, in order to re‑build Fiji’s strong presence and relationships in‑market with the travel trade as well as with key media partners in Japan.
