Drivers and frequent users of the Grantham and Ratu Mara Road junction will now have less cause for frustration.
This is because the flow of traffic from Grantham Road onto Ratu Mara Road is now normal again after Fijivillage had raised the issue with Fiji Roads Authority about the timing of the traffic lights situated there.
Acting General Manager Electrical Musheer Khan has confirmed they have fixed the problem and the “green” time for the traffic from Grantham Road onto Ratu Mara Road has been increased to its initial setting.
Khan says an internal error in the traffic signal clock caused by a power outage was the reason for the inconsistent timing of the lights.
