Ratu Isoa Tikoca’s lawyer Kitione Vuataki filed a motion seeking two orders ahead of the hearing for the case which is from 14th to 25th November.
The first order sought was for the prosecution to further detail the particulars of the charge and the second was to request the use of projectors and other equipment to assist the defence during the hearing.
FICAC State Counsel Laite Bokiniratu requested time to file a formal response to the first order sought and did not have objections to the second order.
It is alleged that Tikoca failed to declare the liability and the amount of the liability to the Registrar, the Permanent Secretary responsible for the elections that he had incurred to the government of Fiji during his tenure as Fiji’s High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.
The matter has been adjourned to the 11th of next month.
