The Fiji National Provident Fund has confirmed that they have three cases of alleged identity thefts and missing cheques in relation to Cyclone Winston Natural Disaster assistance.
Chief Operating Officer Jaoji Koroi says these cases have been reported to Police for further action.
Koroi confirms that they have also taken disciplinary action against the staff implicated.
He says they have also completely reviewed their cheque collection process to ensure that cheques are paid to the rightful members.
Koroi is urging all members to uplift their cheques as there are about 2,163 cheques still to be collected by the FNPF members.
We have also sent questions to Police and a statement is expected soon.
