Thousands of people stuck in traffic this morning after bus breaks down

Thousands of people were stuck in traffic from 7.25 this morning at Davuilevu on Kings Road after a Tebara Bus on its to Suva broke down on one lane. 

The bus was seen blocking the lane coming from Nausori which  caused massive traffic jam from Nausori to Suva.

Some people have told us that they were stuck in traffic for more than an hour and there was no attempt to remove the bus from the main highway during peak traffic period.

Director of Tebara Transport Limited, Saten Maharaj says the bus was removed at 10.20am today.

We also questioned the CEO of Tebara Transport, Arvind Maharaj on why it took the company three hours to remove the bus from the road.

Police had earlier told us that Traffic Management Officers from Nausori were sent to clear the bus.
