Thousands of members of the Methodist Church between Navua and Nausori are expected to converge at the Vodafone Arena to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Fiji’s largest religious community becoming a self-governing conference.
General Secretary, Reverend Tevita Nawadra said that they have a permit to hold a public assembly.
Today the service will include a 300 strong special jubilee mass choir.
Meanwhile, the celebrations will shift to Furnival Park tomorrow where the day will be dedicated to reconciliation within the church.
The annual church conference kicks off on the 25th of this month at the Centenary Church.
