Outgoing U.S Ambassador to Fiji Judith Cefkin says the ongoing economic development in Fiji has been quite impressive.
Cefkin says there has been lots of new development in terms of business and the Tourism industry.
She says she has seen new hotels being built and foreign visitors coming into Fiji.
When asked by Fijivillage if there will be support from the U.S in the upcoming elections, Cefkin says they consider elections to be very important and they are looking forward to the upcoming elections.
We also asked if the US is concerned with Fiji’s partnership with other countries like China, and she says it is not seen as a problem.
Cefkin says she will miss the bula spirit of Fiji, as well as the ocean and vibrant marine life.
Judith Cefkin will fly out to the US tomorrow.
