The Super Rugby game has promoted Fiji as a tourist destination - Kumar

Minister for Industry Trade, Tourism Premila Kumar says Fiji has benefitted from events such as the Super Rugby game as it has promoted Fiji as a tourist destination.

She made the comments while hosting some of the Chiefs players this morning at her office.

She says sports tourism is very important in Fiji as over the years Fiji is trying its level best in attracting more international sports activity in the country adding it is good for Fiji in terms of tourism.

The Minister also wished the team well in their game against the Crusaders this Saturday.
