SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka

Don’t believe it. The Chinese are not taking over Kadavu.

SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka made this comment at SODELPA’s campaign meeting in Cunningham last night when questioned by a resident if a rumour on social media is true that if Fiji does not pay $500 million to China, they will take back Kadavu.

Rabuka says they should not believe this sort of rumours.

Meanwhile Rabuka says it will be easy for a SODELPA government to bring back the Great Council of Chiefs.

Rabuka was questioned by a Cunningham resident if they will bring back the GCC if they make it to government.

He says that the GCC was part of the Fijian Affairs Board Act in the Fijian Affairs Act.

Rabuka also says that the Constitution does not state that the GCC has been abolished.
