The 60th Sanatan Convention Annual General Meeting will progress today as planned despite a court order being issued.
This was confirmed by President of the Shree Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji Rewa Branch and member of parliament Vijendra Prakash who has issued the court order.
Prakash explained that the reason he has issued a court order against the National President of the Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, Sarju Prasad, is that Prasad and the committee that he heads have decided not to include members of parliament in the executive committee.
Prakash further stated that the Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha belongs to everyone.
He adds that despite the court order the Annual General meeting will continue as planned except for the Elections which he has asked to be postponed since he is a contestant for the position of General Secretary.
