Temporary toilet facility near Samabula Post Office expected to finish soon

The temporary toilet facility near Samabula Post Office is expected to be set up in two weeks.

Suva City Council says the cleaning has been done inside the area and works on the temporary facility are almost finished.

We visited the site last month and saw that the Council workers were cutting the overgrown grass and cleaning the area.

We have raised the issue several times with SCC that the public toilet was demolished last year and it was not under construction since then depriving people of this public facility.

People using the area daily have also raised concerns about the unavailability of a public toilet in the area.
