The Water Authority of Fiji will place 10,000 litre water tanks at some places in Nabouwalu as a temporary solution for people who are receiving dirty water in their taps.
People living in Nabouwalu raised the issue with the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during a talanoa session in the Northern Division that they get dirty water at times.
Bainimarama ordered the Water Authority of Fiji to look into the issue.
The Water Authority of Fiji says that the water only looks dirty but it is treated and is safe for drinking.
