Telecom Fiji has entered a team for the Frank Hilton Organisation Charity Wheelbarrow race, set to take place this Saturday.
The event aims to raise funds to help special needs children or children with disabilities.
The Frank Hilton Organisation is a charitable organisation that provides services to over 250 children.
Telecom Fiji CEO, Charles Goundar says Telecom, being a 100% Fijian owned company, has a responsibility to give back to the Fijian people.
He says this is why Telecom supports many charities which help Fijians across the country.
This year’s race will be around Albert Park and it is anticipated that there will be a crowd of supporters present to share in the fun.
The Frank Hilton Organization is the controlling authority of the Hilton Special School, Hilton Early Intervention Centre, Hilton House Hostel, Hilton Audiology/Speech Therapy Department, Hilton Community Support unit and Hilton Physiotherapy Unit.
The Frank Hilton Organisation Charity Wheelbarrow race starts at 7am Saturday.
