Actress Natalie Portman says male sexualisation as a teenager made her rethink which films to work on.
The actress spoke at the Women's March in LA about how her first fan letter at 13 was a "rape fantasy".
She also said a local radio station counted down to her 18th birthday ‑ the date she would become "legal to sleep with".
She also said that she felt the need to cover her body and to inhibit her expression and her work.
Portman said these experiences meant she developed a completely new outlook on which film roles she would accept.
