The Vodafone Tebara Festival that is currently underway in Nausori has been revived after 12 years.
Chairman of the carnival committee Balmindar Singh said this festival is being revived after Vodafone came onboard and showed their genuine support for grass-root activities.
Singh said the carnival committee members are planning to host a number of activities this week, including Fijian made products shows and evening entertainment inclusive of cultural, traditional and modern mix items.
He said that they will also have corporate booths.
Singh said the money raised from this carnival will help in the development of Nausori Town.
Meanwhile, six confirmed Queen contestants will be vying for the Tebara Queen crown to raise awareness and advocate on the theme of building a safe and resilient community.
