Good news as a team of skilled pediatric orthopaedic surgeons will be conducting clinics throughout Fiji next month.
The surgeons are from the Shriners Hospital for Children from Hawaii.
The team has been visiting Fiji for over 25 years and provided corrective surgery for many Fijian children throughout the years.
These include birth defects of hips, arms and legs, sports injuries, deformities of the spine, burn scars, serious complications from bone infection of arms and legs and complicated fractures.
The clinics will be held from February 16th to 18th at the Nadi Hospital.
They will be in Labasa on the 22nd of February and at CWM Hospital from the 23rd to the 25th.
Shriners Hospital's team of surgeons will also screen and diagnose all children with orthopaedic problems who are present at the clinics.
They will also review children who have been to Hawaii for surgery.
