Taxi driver dies after head-on-collision with bus in Davuilevu

The bus involved in the fatal accident in Davuilevu

A taxi driver has passed away after his vehicle had a head-on-collision with a bus at Adi Davila Road in Davuilevu at about 6.30 this morning.

Police and National Fire Authority officers are currently trying to remove the driver’s body from the taxi.

We have received information that the taxi was under the right-hand side of the bus.

There was a passenger in the taxi and the person has been rushed to the hospital.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says other details are sketchy and we will have more information in the next hour.
