A serious case has surfaced involving two public service vehicle drivers.
An eye witness has told us that a taxi driver assaulted a bus driver at around 7.50pm at Nawanawa Road in Nasinu on Tuesday.
The taxi driver was trying to overtake the bus but he could not as the bus was not slowing down and making way for the taxi to overtake.
Our reporter who was sitting in the bus told us that the taxi driver was angry as he could have hit an oncoming vehicle while trying to overtake.
He finally overtook the bus and stopped the taxi in front of the bus before he assaulted the bus driver.
This did not finish there and the taxi driver kept driving slowly in front of the bus not allowing the bus to go at the normal speed towards Nadawa.
There was another confrontation between the two as passengers in the bus had to quickly get off the bus at the Nadawa junction and walk home.
We have sent questions to Police.
