Making music has become a family affair for the Taukafa family who will be performing at today's Vonu Uprising Music Festival.
From the Island Kingdom of Tonga, Tasi Taukafa identified the musical talent in his five children and are now known as the Sound Wave of the Pacific.
The Taukafa family has been performing together for five years and this is their third and final performance at the Music Festival before moving back to Tonga next month.
Taukafa's daughter was also the winner of this year's Kaila Star Search and the family hopes to showcase her abilities today.
The Vonu Uprising Music Festival this year will have a number of local entertainers such as The Gang, RAKO, Kulture band feat, Georgina Ledua including newcomers Jim Crow Blues Band from Adelaide, Australia along with local artists Knox, Blue Monk feat, Tom Mawi and Alyson Hancock as well as Four Quarters.
The Music Festival is currently underway at Uprising in Pacific Harbour and will finish at approximately 2am tomorrow.
