Tara Chetty has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Fiji Women’s Rights Movement.
Governance Board Chair, Daiana Buresova said they felt that Chetty was the strongest contender for the position given her academic credentials and her long history of involvement with the movement.
Chetty said she is looking forward to continuing the work for women’s human rights with her colleagues at the movement and in the broader human rights community locally and internationally.
