Motorists and pedestrians have been asked to take precautions whilst travelling between the Suva to Nausori corridor as the lights at the Kinoya junction is not functioning.
This is caused by a system failure in the traffic signal units which are outdated.
In the meantime, the Fiji Roads Authority has placed temporary traffic control at the junction.
The Authority says they will ensure the traffic signal intersection will be controlled by signs and cones and the traffic police marshals provide assistance to the public during peak hours.
FRA is working on arranging a replacement controller and lanterns within two weeks.
