Two students have been selling vegetables in the 8 weeks school holidays and are all set to start their back to school shopping this week.

14-year-old Jashneil Niklesh Kumar from Votua Road Narere has been selling his family’s produce in Nabua since the school holidays started to help out with the expenses in the house.

Kumar says his parents have already bought his school uniform and books and other stationery will be bought this week.

He will be going on to Year 8 at Nasinu Sangam School this year.

11-year-old Shohev Singh of Nabua Muslim League who sells his family’s produce at the same spot as Kumar says his school uniform has been bought as well and the rest of the back to school shopping will be done on Saturday.

Singh will be going on to Year 6 at Arya Samaj Primary School this year.

Both boys start selling vegetables at 3pm and go home at about 7pm everyday.
