The Year 4, Year 6 and Year 7 students of Vuci Methodist Primary School in Nausori whose classrooms were affected by the fire last night will be sent to nearby schools.
This follows discussions between the school management and the Ministry of Education.
Education Secretary of the Methodist Church of Fiji, Waisake Ravatu says that the cost of damage is estimated at around $90,000.
The fire last night damaged four classrooms, a library, and a computer lab.
Parents are reminded that they do not want students to miss their classes and the Education Ministry together with the school management will make arrangements with other nearby schools.
Ravatu says that the school will operate normally for students in the other classes.
