Students of Ami Chandra Memorial Primary School to be temporarily accommodated in tents

Fire at Ami Chandra Memorial School
Students of Ami Chandra Memorial Primary School in Tavakubu, Lautoka will be temporarily accommodated in tents as four classrooms were destroyed in a fire last night.
This has been confirmed by the Permanent Secretary for Education, Iowane Tiko.
Tiko says the Commissioner Western is arranging for the provision of tents to the school.
The fire destroyed four classrooms, a computer lab and the library.
The National Fire Authority and Police are yet to establish the cause of fire.
