The Fiji Police Force will be closing off the stretch from the junction of Queen Elizabeth Drive to the junction at Grantham Road from 4pm Friday for the Super Rugby match between the Chiefs and Crusaders.
Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says they will only allow those with approved vehicle passes to enter the restricted areas as this is accordance with security measures at Super Rugby match venues.
Tudravu says their traffic officers will be deployed from 3pm to control and direct traffic.
At the ANZ Stadium there will be Police Special Response Unit, K-9 and drugs unit with random check at all points of entry.
