The 75th Anniversary of the Order of Saint John in Fiji was officially launched today by the President and Patriot of the Order of Saint John in Fiji Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Speaking at the opening ceremony at Albert Park this morning, Ratu Epeli said that the Order of Saint John in Fiji has served a vital role by being the premier first aid and community service organization in the country.
Ratu Epeli also paid tribute to all the volunteers and members of Saint John in Fiji who gave their lives to serve humanity.
He told all the young cadets present at the ceremony that they are celebrating 75 years of service because of the sacrifices of members in the past.
Ratu Epeli also challenged all the young and future members of Saint John to create history as they look forward to another memorable 75 years of service.
The celebration this morning at Albert was also attended by several government Ministers and the Leader of Opposition Ro Teimumu Kepa.
