The Attorney General called on employers to take steps in order to change their image in society.
While making his presentation at the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation Combined Council Meeting, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum highlighted that there are some employers who are exploiting people.
Sayed Khaiyum said that employers need to capture public space as some unions do.
He also said that many employers will not want to be part of a group of people that are exploiting people.
Sayed Khaiyum further mentioned that there should not be a constant battle between employers and the unions as there are more bigger things to focus on.
He added that the issues need to be resolved and have a collaborative approach.
He made his presentation on the MOU signing in Geneva and the Government’s vision on the way forward to labour management relations in Fiji.
