Six people have been charged following raids during Phase four of Operation Sasamaki in the Province of Bua earlier this week.
Police say one has been charged with alleged cultivation of illicit drugs while five have been charged after being found in possession of illicit drugs.
The five people who are currently in custody at the Nabouwalu Police Station will be produced at the Labasa Magistrates Court today.
6,827 plants believed to be marijuana have been seized so far with 30 people now facing charges for their alleged involvement in the cultivation and trade of illicit drugs.
