Fijivillage has received confirmation that NFP Leader Biman Prasad, Attar Singh, SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka and Tupeni Baba are being questioned by Police.

Five people continue to be interviewed by Police regarding information received in relation to comments uttered during a Pacific Dialogue panel discussion earlier this week.

Fijivillage has received confirmation that NFP Leader Biman Prasad, Attar Singh, SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka and Tupeni Baba were being questioned by Police.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the names of the people taken in for questioning will not be revealed for now.

She says this is to clarify if the information received is credible.

Naisoro says this is a Police process conducted when information is received about possible issues that could affect the safety and security of all Fijians.

She says the step is being taken merely to eliminate all doubts and concerns.

We spoke to Biman Prasad yesterday afternoon and he said that Police came looking for him in the morning.

SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka and NFP's Attar Singh at Totogo Police Station earlier this afternoon.

Prasad says he has been told that this is to do with a meeting on Monday where they spoke.

Police arrived at Prasad's Laucala Beach home again yesterday afternoon.

He was taken in for questioning.
