Singh family wants Justice after family member dies in road accident

The Singh family of Nadera wants justice to be served after their son and brother, 26-year-old Ashneel Singh passed away in a fatal road accident last night.

Ashneel Singh was on his way to Suva to catch a late night movie with his best friend Janice Jotika when they had a head on collision with an on-coming vehicle at Edinburgh drive.

He was rushed to the CWM hospital however he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The accident occurred at around at about 10.15pm yesterday.

Police are now questioning a 59-year-old diplomat who was also allegedly involved in the accident.

It is alleged that the diplomat was under the influence of alcohol.

Janice Jyotika says from what she saw the other driver lost control of the vehicle.

Jotika says it is something she will never forget.

Ashneel Singh worked with his father at a construction company.

His father Arvind Singh says he has lost a hardworking son who was dedicated to his family.

Singh says his son loved his sister and brother.
