Director for the Legal Aid Commission, Sunil Sharma has urged legal practitioners to know what they are doing.
Speaking at the Legal Aid Commission Workshop on Family law, Sharma highlighted the need for legal practitioners to understand and do their work properly.
Sharma said in his 15 years of being a legal practitioner, the family law cases which he normally deals with are child maintenance, paternity and property distribution cases.
While opening the workshop, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya said lawyers should always serve their clients in a timely and efficient manner.
The workshop is being facilitated by Justice Anjala Wati and Resident Magistrate Vandhana Lal.
80 legal practitioners are taking part in the two day workshop which will finish tomorrow.
