Senior Management team of the Ministry of Agriculture had launched their 2017-2018 Corporate Plan for the new financial year.
Speaking at the launch, the Acting Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Samuela Lagataki says the purpose for annual corporate planning exercise is to help the ministry plan and prepare the resources that is needed to be delivered.
Lagataki has highlighted that the implementation of their capital projects remains a major challenge but a well written corporate plan will communicate the vision of the ministry to all the employees including stakeholders.
He says the plan expresses in detail the approaches, key performance indicators and the desired outcomes.
The Ministry of Agriculture was allocated $86.3 million in the 2017-2018 National budget.
