British police have found more explosives which could have been used in follow‑up attacks to the Manchester Arena bombing.
The Independent reported one device was blown up in a controlled explosion.
It said security services were concerned further bombs could have been created by a network intent on carrying out further attacks.
Salman Abedi, a Manchester‑born 22‑year‑old carried out the attack outside Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert killing 22 people and injuring more than 120.
Police made several arrests in the United Kingdom and in Libya, including of the bomber's brothers and father, as they continue to shut down the network.
