Search underway for missing student

The search is underway for a student who has been missing since the 5th of this month.

Police say 18-year-old Shahista Rukshar Shaheem was reported missing by her father on the 7th of this month.

Shahista had left her home at Lodoni Settlement in Sawakasa, Tailevu on the 5th of December and was to spend her holidays with her grandmother who resides in Nadawa.

When enquiring two days after leaving their home, Shahista’s father was informed that she never reached her grandmother’s home as planned and a report was lodged at the Korovou Police Station.
