School Managers in Ba have been reminded by the Education Minister to be constantly aware of their roles and all the data and statistics of the school.
While launching the School Managers Handbook at Xavier College today, Mahendra Reddy told the School Managers to meet the School Heads to discuss and foster good planning and support towards teaching and learning in schools.
He says the Handbook gives out the roles and responsibilities and the Managers can use it as a guidance.
Reddy told the School Managers that they are the Ministry of Education’s ambassadors in their communities and they have to pass the right message to them at all times.
He told them to not add or subtract important details to suite anyone’s personal agenda and always remember that children are our priority.
The Education Minister told the School Managers that in past, Managements used to work in isolation and as such they regularly had disputes and disagreements at various levels of school management which immensely affected the smooth running of the school.
The School Management Handbook has been funded by the Access to Quality Education Program from Australian Aid.
